My client currently has an exciting opportunity for Junior Developer with skills in C#, asp.net, vb.net or php to join their market leading company in Northamptonshire.

This is a diverse and exciting opportunity in which you will be responsible for designing and developing new websites and updating and maintaining the ecommerce website. The successful Web Developer will also be contributing to the online marketing campaigns and supporting the company's internal network. Within this position you will be given the freedom and support to utilise your creative skills in order to drive sales from the company's websites.

The current e-commerce website is managed by an external partner and due to company growth they are now looking to bring the hosting, development and maintenance of the website in-house.

A strong web development background is essential which should be made up of front and back end development knowledge covering -

- ASP.Net
- HTML
- XHTML
- PHP
- CSS
- JavaScript
- AJAX

In order to successfully manage the internal network you must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, IIS (Internet Information Server) web server and ideally Exchange Server.

This is a creative and technical web development position with a twist, whilst you will be paid a competitive basic salary you will also receive revenue shares of all orders made through the company's and affiliate websites. Commutable locations include Northampton, Kettering, Rushden, Wellingborough, Market Harborough and Corby.
