IT Systems Administrator – £30k - Watford, Hertfordshire

An IT Systems Administrator with strong systems implementation and disaster recovery skills is required by our Civil Engineering client based near Watford, Hertfordshire. A salary of £30,000 basic is offered.

The IT Systems Administrator will develop and maintain internal systems, as well as support and train users. You will provide disaster recovery and documentation for a 50 user network as well as providing design, implementation and maintenance for the company systems and software. Experience supporting Accountancy packages such as Sage is highly desirable.

The IT Systems Administrator will be the sole provider for IT within the company with external assistance as required. You must have good knowledge of SQL Server and possibly Access databases including reporting services. You will take responsibility for security including backups and anti-virus and remote VPN support. Knowledge of supporting blackberry and mobile handheld devices is also advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to take departmental responsibility for a rewarding employer based near Watford, Hertfordshire. Experience of purchasing, costing and some budgetary experience is preferred.

Salary from £26k to £30k (dependent upon skills and experience)
