Are you an experienced Business Analyst with the experience to ‘hold your own' when working with international blue chip clients? Do you have experience of requirements gathering through to specification design? Have you worked within the IT & Telecommunications arena?

The Background

This forward thinking technology outsource organisation is currently seeking to recruit a Business Analyst to support a large project for a period of 2-3 months. Due to the continued success of this organisation within the technology outsource arena, the opportunity for an extension beyond the 2-3 month period is very realistic.

The Responsibilities

As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for facilitating meetings with customer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and clarify information to gain an in-depth knowledge of the customer's service delivery processes, procedures and supporting systems. You will be responsible for building and managing good working relationships with the SMEs throughout the content development process.

You will analyse the needs of the client and work to those requirements, managing meetings and collaborate with resources so that target information is gathered. Building process and procedural content based on gathered source materials to required styles and standards for an online business audience, you will also report progress of work to a project manager or customer, as required.


The Professional

As the successful candidate, you will have a background developed in business analysis, including understanding the need of an business, managing requirements gathering and writing specifications, ideally within the IT, Software or Telecommunications sectors. You will ideally have experience of authoring ERP or CRM software (SAP, Oracle, SAP, etc) using tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SnagIT, AuthorIT, SupportPoint, etc. You will be an excellent project worker with the ability to communicate effectively with executive level professionals.
