Due to expansion we are looking for a flexible, hardworking individual to join our commissioning team to ensure that configuration orders are processed according to the agreed industrial standards and in accordance with the customers' instructions.

Main Duties of the Job:

1. To test and configure a variety of hardware and software products, to the customers''specific requirements when expressed, within the agree departmental time scales.

2. To test and configure a variety of products to the manufacturer’s written instructions, ensuring satisfactory operation.

3. To escalate to the Team Leaders any non-conformance within the agreed time scales.

4. To fully complete all paperwork as and when necessary.

5. To comply with all Health and Safety requirements within the Commissioning Complex.

6. To apply firmware upgrades when required .

7. To assist the Configuration manager in the daily running of the Configuration Centre through the above and any other duties as necessary.

8. As per predefined customwer documentation loading customer images and customer defined applications .

9.Following ESD guidelines whilst working on equipment in the Workshop area.
10. Perform any ad hoc duties as and when required by the Centre Manager.


Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

- Previous experience of handling IT equipment in a similar configuration type role is advantageous.

- A pragmatic 'hands on' approach and a team player.

- Strong interest in IT
