An excellent opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to join a global blue chip organisation with head offices in Bracknell, Berkshire.
The role of Senior Java / J2EE Developer offers exposure to complex systems and applications development in a challenging and hugely rewarding environment.
The successful applicant will take responsibility for the implementation of complex applications with complete delivery responsibility for complex systems components; the creation of specifications and designs; and ensuring development work meets customer expectations in quality and timescale.
To be considered for this position you will need experience a follows:
Degree level education in Mathematics and/or IT such as BSc Computer Science
Substantial development experience with distributed applications specifically Java / J2EE environment.
Proven experience in design & development of complex applications
Strong commercial knowledge of:
• Spring, Hibernate
• Java including advanced concepts – threading, generics, collections
• RDBS experince ideally SQL Server & JDBC
• DHTML & AJAX
• QA Best Practice
Desirable Skills:
Mathematics & Statistical Systems Development
AGILE / SCRUM
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 + excellent benefits
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire (Commute from Reading, Maidenhead, Wokingham, Woking, Ascot, Slough, Basingstoke, Camberley, Newbury, Thames Valley)
