Overview: You will join a team providing support for our industry leading eSight energy monitoring and targeting suite. The primary elements of your role will be:
Systems administration and management of both customer and internal hosted networks. This includes server hardware, Windows server operating systems, Internet connectivity, Firewall hardware/software, VPN, Microsoft Exchange, telecommunications, LAN infrastructure, backups, disaster recovery, internal desktop and laptop PCs.
Infrastructure and capacity planning for internal and customer networks
Implementing procedures to ensure high levels of service and availability for customer and internal systems

You will report to the Product Support Manager.
Essential Experience
Extensive experience of managing servers running Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (Windows Server 2003 and/or Server 2008). Extensive experience in managing Microsoft Exchange 2003 and/or Exchange 2007. Experience of managing Microsoft IIS implementations. Comprehensive knowledge of network infrastructure hardware and software including network switches, Internet connectivity, Firewalls and VPNs. Clean driving license with own car.
Desired Experience
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008.
Personal Characteristics
Ability to analyse and solve complex technical problems. Ability to quickly understand and resolve issues with new hardware and software without requiring extensive training.
