Operational and Business Readiness Expert - Our client is a large and important Government organisation based in Blackpool with an immediate requirement for a Operational and Business Readiness Expert.
This is working on a large programme that will gradually replace the payment processing and accounting system. The system is currently in the build stage and work is underway to prepare the business for the new processes.
Responsibilities: -
• Development and production of key Business Products (spreadsheets, presentations and formal word documents)
• Planning and monitoring of progress
• Stakeholder engagement and communication
• Analysis of impact upon the business
Outputs to be achieved: -
• Provide input to / support of Learning and Development Products, Implementation Plans, Business Process Re-engineering.
• Definition and monitoring of business acceptance criteria
• Evaluation of business readiness
Skills/ Experience Required: -
• Experience of working on implementation of large projects within a large and diverse organisational structure.
• Experience of Financial systems – particularly Oracle
• Experience of working in public sector, particularly Central Government.
• Stakeholder management and consultation skills
• Planning
• Presentation and Communication skills
• Risk and issue management and resolution
• Awareness of Change Management principles
