Merchandiser required by one of the UK's leading high street retailers.

Reporting to the Head of Merchandising, key responsibilities will be to:
- Own the overall category range review process.
- Manage category ranging ensuring the best use of space across all market groups.
- Manage category stock and intake in conjunction with supply chain to ensure that sales are maximised within stock targets.
- Manage a team of merchandisers developing and training as necessary
- Support the buying team in making appropriate decisions to maximise sales, margin and income, whilst minimising stock risk.
Previous merchandising experience at managerial level is essential ideally with some micro space planning experience from any product background, although experience of beauty categories would be an advantage.
Strong communication skills coupled with excellent commercial awareness are paramount.
