Role: Programme Manager

Location: Knutsford, Cheshire

You will be working for a leading financial organisation, leading and delivering national and international programmes covering IT infrastructure and related business changes.

Key responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle delivery of IT infrastructure programmes, from requirements gathering to “go live”
- Direct and matrix management of Project staff
- Stakeholder engagement and influencing, often at COO / CXO level
- Budget management of £millions (typical value could be £30million+ per programme)
- Acting as an internal consultant to a variety of large business areas across the globe

Key skills / experience required:
- Must have strong experience working as a Senior Programme Manager on “full lifecycle” IT infrastructure based programmes
- Should have strong experience managing teams, both matrix and direct, team sizes must be large (40-50 staff minimum)
- Must have experience managing £multi-million budgets (c£30million or more)
- MSP and Prince2 certification to practitioner level is highly desirable
- It is essential that candidates have experience presenting to and influencing stakeholders within a very large organisation up to COO / CXO level
- International programme management experience is highly desirable
