SQL Server DBA) My client in the midlands is looking for a SQL/DBA from a Production DBA background this is a 24/7 environment, ensuring performance, availability, scalability and security. There is a 24/7 shift pattern to this role so you must be able to flexiable on this. You must have extensive commercial database administration with recent production database administration experience, commercial experience of managing multiple distributed SQL 2000/2005 RDBMS on a large scale in a high volume OLTP environment, supporting transactional replication and log shipping to maintain supporting applications. You will also have solid experience of the following - SQL Server Clustering, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Notification Services SQL Server Analysis Services, Service Broker, SQL Server Replication, SQL Server Profiler Performance Turning, SQL Server DMVs, 3rd Party Tools like Quest LiteSpeed, Apex LogReader, Redgate SQL Compare, Programming Languages - TSQL and .NET.
