Our client is looking for a Senior SQL Server production DBA to act as a product specialist within the DB services department. You will need extensive MSSQL tuning skills
and have the ability to prioritise your workload and work with minimal supervision. We expect a pro-active work ethic and strong communication skills. Required skills are Microsoft SQL Server production database administration; Microsoft  Windows 2000, 2003 & 2008; SQL Server 2005; SQL Server 2008; Clustering and replication skills; Analysis / Reporting Services 2005/2008; Microsoft SQL Server Development; SQL Optimising skillset; Database monitoring and troubleshooting. Desirable skills MCDBA (Microsoft Certified Database Administrator); Sybase ASE and Replication server skills would be a nice to have as you will get exposure to these technologies as well as supporting databases on SAN storage. You will be working in a highly skilled team that supports a global environment. Experience of a substantial corporate production environment is expected. EU or Swiss passport holders preferred.
