Oracle 11g Fusion Developer £350-£400 per day - Bicester


The Implementation project will entail migrating the existing functionality of the SC EAI Service from Oracle Interconnect to Fusion 11g (SOA Suite 11g and OSB); this will require building new adapters within the SOA Suite/OSB environment, to deliver the functionality of the existing Interconnect adapters.


ROLE SUMMARY:

Working as part of the 11g Implementation team, the responsibilities of the individuals are anticipated to include, but no limited to:
• Developing the required functionality within the SOA Suite and OSB environments, based on detailed designs being produced by the current project workstream, an din line with the required project standards.
• Unit testing.
• Support to HP Test team personnel during System and Integration Testing, and resolution of defects as required.
• Carrying out Peer review of colleagues work.
• Producing and/or updating any relevant documentation.
• Following local HP Account procedures.
• Strictly adhering to MoD and HP security policies and procedures.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Under general direction, conceptualises, designs, constructs, tests, and implements portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
• Participates in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions
• Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems.
• Applies metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria.
• Prepares system documentation.
• Participates in special studies, marketing efforts and formal proposals
• Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

ESSENTIALS SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong practical knowledge of Oracle Fusion 11g (SOA Suite and OSB) – preferably Patch Set 2
Experience of SOA implementation.
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Good working knowledge of Web Logic server 11g
Generic design and build skills/experience
Oracle SQL / PL*SQL
Knowledge of JMS implementation
Knowledge of AQ/MQ implementation
Knowledge of JDBC implementation
Practical integration (EAI) experience
Experience of Developing in Java
Experience of Developing Web Services
Experience of Developing in XML
Experience of XSL/XSD/XQUERY


DESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of Oracle Interconnect.
Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion 10g.
Ant build scripting
