We are currently seeking to engage an experienced Project Coordinator to join a Global project which will be upgrading to Windows 7 and Office 2010.
The role focuses on the co-ordination of testing for approximately 800 software applications that are used around the world. Some of these applications have been internally developed, some are off the shelf applications and the others have been commissioned and written by external developers.
The role will comprise:
- Collating data on our applications from our Software Catalog and other inventory tools
- Confirming the technical owners for all applications - these will be colleagues spread across
many Global teams
- Working with our technical teams to make test environments available
- Scheduling preliminary testing with other project team members and tracking progress
- Coordinating further testing with the application owners
- Managing the project issue logs and providing regular status reports
- Coordinating remediation of non compliant applications
Ideally, you will have worked on a similar Coordination project and be able to demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. If you have used alternative tools to perform a similar function, our client is more than happy to consider them. Any experience of Microsoft SharePoint this will be deemed as advantageous but is not essential.
The position will commence on the 11th of October and will be based in Chichester, West Sussex and will be for an initial term of 3 months with a potential extension.
