Our client is in urgent need of a commercially experienced candidate with 3 years+’ experience to be involved in the production, or use of, software designs expressed in UML and implementing them to match the customer’s requirements using a range of Java technologies. There will be requirements to attend frequent progress meetings either at our clients head office or at client locations.
Ideally you will possess a degree in computing or equivalent, with at least 3 years+ experience after graduation . The core requirement is a good understanding of Java technologies. Other useful experience includes: team lead or management skills, protocol design, and XML and some software testing ability. The predominant operating system is Linux, although there are some Windows development possibilities.
