About Claire's

Claire's is one of the most successful brands on the high street specialising in fashion jewellery and accessories for girls aged between 3 and 18. We have over 3000 stores worldwide, (over 1000 in Europe and circa 460 in the UK). Our growth continues with 127 new stores opened last year across Europe and 90 new stores planned for this year. Our European IT team are based at our European Head office in Erdington, Birmingham.

About the role

The Oracle Technical/Functional Analyst will make a key contribution to our Oracle Project team by designing and implementing solutions to meet our business requirements for Claire's Europe. Role responsibilities include;

� Implementation and support of General Ledger, Payables, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Inventory and iExpense modules.

� Design and development of Reports, Interfaces, Data Conversions, Workflow customizations and Forms Personalisation's..

� System and Quality Assurance testing of developed solutions.

� Investigation and documentation of business requirements.

About you

It is essential that you possess demonstrable experience in both configuring and supporting the Oracle Applications module and PL/SQL, XML Publisher and Oracle Reports. It is also desirable that you are knowledgeable in Discoverer, JDeveloper and Java. A keen team player you'll enjoy being part of a fast paced Retail IT function and possess the ability to communicate both clearly and effectively across a range of levels within an organisation.
