Voice Recording Installation Engineer -, City of London - £47k

My client a world leader in voice recording requires an Installation Engineer to implement and install bespoke software and hardware solutions to a wide range of clients sites around the UK. This role will be based in the City of London, supporting investment banks/trading floors, call centres and financial institutions in and around London.

As an Installation Engineer you will be involved in managing and coordinating the technical aspects of implementation projects (both standard and customised projects). You will have an overall responsibility for the integration, implementation and testing. Therefore, you will need to execute integration and implementation including basis training, and be responsible for site documentation to a high level for the purpose of site hand over to customer support. You will also be responsible for staging new and complex solutions prior to implementation and providing technical assistance to Project Managers in validating and preparing for implementation.

To be considered, you will require the following:
*Proven experience of networking, security, extensive exposure to Microsoft operating systems (XP, Vista, Windows 7, 2003, 2008) and hands on experience with PC and Server Hardware.
*Win2008 MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification is an advantage.
*Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 structure and basic commands. SQL scripting is a must. DBA would be an advantage.
*Knowledge of Cisco/Avaya VOIP solutions is an advantage as is call centre experience.
*Must have basic understanding of telephony protocols. CTI applications and Hardware (cabling) would be an advantage.
*Must be able to work independently and learn quickly.
*Must be able to troubleshoot and have good problem solving skills.
*Must have customer support experience.
