Support Developer PHP
A Full Time/Permanent position working at Hughes Media’s offices in Stanford Bridge, Worcestershire.
Salary: £18,000 to £25,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Technical Support:
You will handle support and client relationships by answering support calls and emails from our clients, resolving issues promptly and with appropriate follow up to make sure our clients remain satisfied with the service we provide. You must be good at speaking with both technical and non-technical staff and users.

You will be the first point of contact for the company, dealing with customer issues so it is essential that you have an excellent approach to customer service in addition to a strong set of hands on technical skills.

• Able to handle incoming email & calls, and aim to resolve most of them by either quoting on or completing the task.

In addition to your primary role in Technical Support you may be asked to help with work on live projects as well as research and development work for Hughes Media. You should have experience of object-oriented PHP5 and MySQL 5.

Technical Requirements
• Experience or knowledge of supporting end users via phone and email based Technical Support.
• Experience of troubleshooting problems and providing resolutions within a PHP code base.
• Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems, primarily Centos.
• Knowledge of how the internet works – you know the difference between port 80 and port 143.
