System Administrator / System Engineer - Permanent - Bristol

The ideal System Administrator/Engineer candidate will be responsible for internal office IT systems and be able to get involved with configuring and supporting production hosting infrastructure both dedicated and cloud based

The System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, security and maintenance of systems hardware (servers and networking devices) and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

The successful System Administrator/Engineer should have experience working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment and be comfortable working under pressure and to project deadlines.

Experience:

*Windows Server 2008 R2
*SQL Server 2008 R2
*IIS 7
*Network Configuration
*Load Balancer Configuration (F5 Big IP)
*Firewall Configuration (Cisco ASA)

Skills:

*Systems Administration/System Engineer certification from Microsoft
*5+ years' experience with a Systems Admin role preferably in office and online environment
*Exceptional Windows, IIS, DNS, TCP/IP, SQL skills
*Windows PowerShell scripting
*Excellent written and spoken communication
*Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
*Ability to deliver projects within tight deadlines
*Self-starter and able to work unsupervised
*Time Management
*Problem solving
