Our award winning client is a leading Nottingham based Marketing Agency. With a growing portfolio of services covering Brand Identity, print Design, Web Design and Multimedia our client is well positioned to further grow their enviable and national account bas. Due to growth, they now have an immediate opening for a PHP Developer.

As a PHP Developer, you will join an enthusiastic and growing digital development team and be involved in challenging application development for a variety of interesting and complex projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include turning client requirements into technical briefs, writing high quality code and learning about new technology / software kits. You will be comfortable explaining technical implementation in a non-technical manner and will utilise your PHP experience to advise clients or other members of staff, to choose the best path to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3+ years PHP web development experience with knowledge of Commercial website development and a good selection of today's available development technology (Symfony 2, Doctrine 2, Zend Framework, Magento, Kohana, PHPUnit, Phing, PHPCS / PHPCPD, MySQL, Varnish, Apache, Linux / OSX, Git Hub, Redmine, Harvest and SASS/LESS. You will be degree level educated, be a team player with excellent communication and presentation skills and be genuinely excited about developing new and innovative web solutions.

The successful candidate can expect an initial base salary of 25-35k dependent upon previous experience. Further benefits will also be provided.
