£65-75,000 + 10% Bonus

Technical Architect/Solutions Architect/C#/.Net/SQL/Oracle. A Technical Architect is urgently required for a reputable financial services organisation currently experiencing large programmes of change on IT application and Infrastructure.

As a subject matter expert in architecture you will be reporting to the Business Delivery Director and providing a strong influence on the development of a new technical road map of a fast growing IT function. As part of the expansion you will assist on streamlining processes ensuring that all systems used and implemented are cost effective whilst completing the systems architecture on .Net based projects.

You will regularly meet with business users to help understand requirements and build technical specifications in mainly application development with some infrastructure so you should be comfortable in both areas.

Excellent knowledge of investment banking environment and investment banking applications is essential for this role along with someone who is strong on architecture methodology. Whilst knowledge of both areas of IT is important my client has specified that someone from a Software Development background would be preferable as most assignments will be in this area.
