We are an independent Website Design and Web database consultancy, currently looking to recruit a talented Web Programmer/Developer (PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS), to join our team.

This role is based in our stylish offices located in an idyllic rural location, commutable from Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham and Gloucester.

All our work is carried out in-house and we have an enthusiastic, professional team. The candidate will be involved in a range of projects including developing web applications and websites for a range of customers across multiple industries.

We are looking for individuals who have relevant Web Developer experience, ideally working in a web-development environment, preferably in a small company managing their own projects and clients.

We operate in a unique creative and commercial environment. Competent project management, creative flair and outstanding customer skills are all hallmarks of our team.

The Web Developer role is a senior role which will be involved in supporting the development of the business. We pride ourselves in balancing a great environment to work (including social events) with a professional environment where all our employees can thrive.

Web Developer - Candidate Requirements:

We Developer applicants must have excellent communication and customer management skills, and be able to demonstrate experience in pre-sales work, proposal writing and winning fee-paying work.

Along with programming or developing experience, the candidate should have solid understanding of the following:

PHP
MySQL
HTML
CSS
Web standards
SEO

They will also need an understanding of relational databases and the ability to write clear, clean code.

Although not essential, knowledge of any of the following would be beneficial: JavaScript, AJAX, and/or experience of LAMP administration.
