NHS Project Manager- System go-live

My client in the health sector located in Great Yarmouth is looking for a Project Manager to help the Trust and lead on the implementation of a Trust-wide Information System. The project is close to Go-live and requires someone with the drive, energy, leadership, communications skills and tenacity to take the project through its final steps and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust and lead on implementing such a critical project that will bring huge benefits for all concerned.

Reporting to the Project Board, and Programme Manager, the candidate will be expected to undertake the following activities:

Ensure the successful project management of the critical project.
Liaise with a range of clinical, medical and support staff and departments
Monitor and report on the progress of the project to the Project Board
Provide leadership and coordination of all the streams (including HR, IT, Business Change) of the Project
Manage and work with the established project leads and teams as required.
Liaise, document and coordinate with Suppliers.
Produce management reports as required
Provide the enthusiasm and drive to help others through the major business change

The successful candidate will have:

PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification and a good understanding and experience of tailoring PRINCE2 to different sized projects (minimum 5 years)
Excellent people management track record
Strong communication skills including diplomacy and excellent negotiation
Be highly organised and have good attention to detail
Be energetic and have a positive attitude

You should be willing to undergo a CRB check.
