Syntax Consultancy have been engaged by an industry leading IT Services company who have exciting plans to double there turnover in the next 12 months. On the back on this expansion plan my client are in the process of recruiting a team of IT Support Analysts. You will be tasked with working within a 1st line support team to provide IT support assistance to their client base. Key Skills, Duties and Responsibilities:
*Provide 1st level telephone and remote technical support, assisting customers with technical issues
*Log all faults and requests into an Incident Management System for all IT Teams, and ensure the incident process is managed effectively
*Promote and follow all escalation routes, should incident resolution not to be achieved after initial diagnosis
*Provide a good level of customer care whilst communicating to clients/customers via phone and email
*Ensure clients/customers are aware of the progress of their issues, through monitoring and managing logs tracked in Remedy through to completion
*Develop a strong understanding of client specific applications
*Dynamic Working Environment : You will be required to process high volumes of requests on a daily basis
*Be flexible in working hours
*Experience in a specific IT Customer Services Support role in a high volume/high user base service desk environment
*Be able to communicate at all levels
*Be proficient in supporting Microsoft Office Suite with some exposure of Blackberry handhelds preferred
* Incident call logging experience
