This client is an IT Services company that specialise in delivering infrastructure projects and are perceived to be one of the leaders in the industry. Apart of a global organisation there is a lot of opportunity for development and growth in moving forward.
The role on offer is a VoIP Support Engineer working within there global operational team.
The technical support team provides administration, enhancements and upgrades on enterprise level IP Telephony systems. You will be operating heavily in a client facing environment and as such communication is key to success. Being proactive in your approach is critical as you will be identifying possible methods preventing and identifying system problems. You will be operating on projects from end to end being involved in the design and implementation through to the operational support elements.
Essential:
Relevant 3rd line experience in Cisco IPT/Contact Centres (CCM, Unity, IPCC
Good working knowledge of Cisco Unified Comms product catalogue
Good working knowledge of MGCP, H.323 & SIP gateways
Good working experience on Call Manager, IPCC Express and IPCC Enterprise
Good working knowledge or experience in MS & Linux operating systems
Ability to systematically troubleshoot research and diagnose root cause
Must be an organized and self-motivated individual, effective team player
Good client-facing skills
Understanding of ITIL Service Management fundamentals
