Front End Web Developer

FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER, London W5
Salary to £40,000 to £45,000 per annum

Successful e-commerce website design agency requires front end web developer with excellent HTML, XHTML and CSS skills.

You must have at least 2 years front end web development experience, be able to hand code and to implement designs with pixel perfect precision as well as have strong technical skills and an understanding of complicated e-commerce platforms and dynamic websites.

• Your work must be cross browser compatible and you should keep up to date with the latest web trends, languages and browsers.
• You must have an excellent scripting knowledge, (ideally JavaScript but others considered) and be able problem solve.
• You will be passionate about W3C standards, and hand code unobtrusive scripting, clean XHTML and CSS.
• You must have a 'can-do' attitude, a positive outlook and a strong focus in getting the job done, a strong passion for IT and delivering quality code and design.

Essential Skills required:

- Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS in the context of large web applications
- Expert cross browser issues knowledge
- Strong unobtrusive hand code scripting knowledge
- Ability to implement client-side libraries/frameworks
- Ability to work with image editing software (Photoshop)
- Understanding of .NET websites
- Excellent communication and team skills
