This is an excellent role for a VB.Net / ASP.Net Web Developer wanting to remain in a-hands on environment yet gaining greater responsibility over the overall project delivery.

Skills - Essential for this role are extensive VB.Net / ASP.Net skills. You should show you are well acquainted with the web development process and have good experience in project planning. Ideally you should also have exposure &/or knowledge to .Net 3.5 / 4.0 & SQL Server including creating Stored procedures & Triggers / Views.

Good communication skills are essential for this role as you will be liaising with clients & vendors as well as Company Directors & other colleagues.

Responsibilities
As the Web Developer ( VB.Net / ASP.Net ) you will work closely with the Development Manager to ensure the delivery of projects on time & to budget, involved in mentoring juniors & guiding them to achieve their goals. On a day-to-day basis you will be heavily involved in the hands on development of the VB.Net / ASP.Net business software internally & for clients, working with large blue chip companies. Full life cycle development is expected, following the process from initial specification through to deployment.
