Description Litigation / Prosecutions Locum, South East/ South Coast, to £30 p/h, PERMANENT PROSPECTS.

A local authority situated in the South East requires a litigation / prosecutions locum for at least 6 months with the prospect of a permanent post following the initial temporary period. The successful candidate will join a supportive team and will handle a full range of litigation / prosecution matters which will include:

- Housing Law
- Benefit Fraud
- Health & Safety
- Trading Standards
- Fire & Rescue
- Planning
- Highways
- Anti-social behaviour
- Debt Recovery
- Appearances at the Magistrates Court
- Representing the council at various administration hearings & full trials

Applications from qualified solicitors, legal executives and barristers with UK experience are welcomed. It would be desirable that applicants have a public sector background, although this is not a necessity. The jobholder will benefit from the fantastic summer setting and an easily accessible location via major transport links to and from East and West Sussex, Kent or London.
