An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a local authority in the North of England working as part of the childcare team.

You will be required to assist the solicitors with large caseloads of care proceedings. You will be responsible for section 7’s, section 37’s, preparing bundles, sitting behind counsel and taking depositions and witness statements.

Experience of working in local government is desirable but not necessary however it is essential that you have had experience of working in childcare law.
