My client is a very grand and historic 4 star Hotel & Spa based in Royal Ascot, Berkshire. They have an award winning restaurant, unrivalled views over mature lawns along with outstandingly beautiful leisure and spa facilities. This hotel hosts many weddings due to its beautiful surroundings and excellent services.

A wonderful fragrant hush envelopes you as you step into the serenity of the candlelit Spa at this hotel which consists of six spa treatment rooms, a calming relaxation suite and two nail bars.

We are looking for a highly experienced Beauty or Spa Therapist who also has the strength of character and experience to be “Deputy Manager” covering the Spa and also the small gym facility when the current Leisure Manager is away. You will be doing hands-on treatments but you will also be very much the Assistant Spa & Leisure Manager, being involved in all aspects of the smooth running of the spa, from team supervision and mentoring, all the way through to the broader financial reporting and budget control. You would be working under the guidance of the current Leisure Manager.

The ideal Candidate

The Ideal candidate must have: -

1. NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapies or the equivalent
2. Significant experience in a spa or a large salon environment
3. Proven history of being a mentor or supervisor to a team of Therapists
4. Strong administration and organisational skills as a part of this role will be admin, ordering of stock, stock taking, etc

The following would be a bonus but are not essential: -

5. Reflexology
6. Decleor product range experience
