P2P Process Improvement Manager


Salary - 32k to 38k (Plus car)

Hours - 37.5 (8.45 to 5.45 approx)

Support the continuous process improvement across end-to-end P2P process, in order to enhance P2P performance in the following areas:·

Data quality
Sustainability
Transactional process effectiveness and efficiency
Monitor best practice - internally and externally, and identify opportunities for adoption through benchmarking performance
Take on projects as agreed with Head of Programme and P2P Process Manager

Review end-to-end P2P process to identify, benchmark, and quantify opportunities for efficiency improvement to transactional processes
Drive progress to maintained project plans and ensure:-
optimum scheduling
full stakeholder participation
Demonstrate achievement of opportunities against initial predictions with effective controls
Achieve closer integration of end to end processes and process owners

Implement detailed efficiency improvements by business unit to achieve 75% of first time invoice matching.
Implement a controlled purchasing card policy so that transaction counts are reduced through SAP
Determine relevant control and review procedures (relevant to rules of business) for P2P process.
Challenge the status quo of current P2P process and identify alternative solutions for:-
- reducing the number of transactions
- reducing the cost of transactions
- increasing transaction efficiency

Agree and implement reporting of data quality performance for all P2P processes.
Engage fully with staff and stakeholders in agreement and delivery of project plans.
Develop concept of establishing multiple groups of super users for different activities including training delivery, performance monitoring and process improvement.
Support full integration of P2P business as usual into Procurement operations.
Encourage all P2P staff to contribute to continuous improvement.

Looking for someone who has been involved in P2P process previously
Background knowldge of SAP system is necessary (procurement Module)
Knowldge of process mapping would be advantage (Role incolves identifying weak spots in the current processes)
