Our client is a major electrical wholesale / distribution company consisting of regional operations located throughout the UK.

We are seeking a Business Manager to assume responsibility of an operation located in the South East. The business buys in electrical products such as valves, thermostats, valves, controls etc from major branded suppliers and supplies these mainly to the building and trade sectors.

We are now seeking a dynamic and sales oriented individual with management experience. Electrical industry experience would be an advantage but is not a fundamental requirement because full product training will be given to anyone new to the industry (however some affinity with the product range and its uses would be desirable). Of greater importance is a sales and profit orientation plus good team management skills.

Whilst experience of the electrical industry is not a fundamental requirement it would be an advantage. However, we do require a sales orientation, profit management experience and good people skills. We are keen to speak to people with a track record in business management. Candidates may come from a wide range of backgrounds including retail, manufacturing, wholesale, merchants sector, distribution, logistics, HVAC, telecoms, security, service sector, IT peripherals etc
