Description		Project Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor � Construction D&B Location Hertfordshire Remuneration: �40,000-�45,000 per annum plus benefits Benefits package will include: Choice of a company car or a car allowance Pension contribution scheme (5%) Discretionary bonus Private Health Care The client: My client is a leading UK Main Contractor who specialises in construction, new build and design and build projects. They have an unrivalled reputation within the Quantity Surveying market for career prospects even at a senior level. Recently my client has won a series of prestigious projects in the Hertfordshire and North London areas and is keen to take on a Project Quantity Surveyor to take control of a number of these projects. The job: As the successful Quantity Surveyor you will take control and work on 2 or 3 new build and design and build of educational centres valued from �1million up to �6million You will work on these projects from the start to finish and must be able to settle final accounts whilst showing an ability to make a profit on each separate project. The successful candidate will be travelling to and from site a few times a week so a driving license will be essential Each project has its own team of Junior Surveyors and as the Project Quantity Surveyor you will be expected to oversee and help train a team of 2 or 3 QS�s. You will then be expected to report back to a Managing Quantity Surveyor and/or the Commercial manager Requirements/Skills: � BSc in Quantity Surveying or a construction related subject � 7-10+ years Quantity Surveying experience � Main Contractor background with Construction project experience � New Build and Design and Build project experience � Full UK driving license � Professional memberships are not essential (RICS/CIOB) If you have any questions or queries please feel free to contact John Baker at Project Resource Ltd on 01189 522240.
