Our client is looking for a Product Manager to manage the New Product Development process from cradle to grave, working directly for a Business Development Manager on a key private label account(s).

Responsibilities

 Key driver of NPD internally through the business – this involves co-ordinating multi-functions and activities, including close liaison with buyers, packaging technologist, R&D, suppliers and the customer
 Working closely with Creative Team on product concept generation
 Product Costings & Commercials
 Risk analysis assessment
 Critical path management
 Copy writing/artwork/repro co-ordination
 Supplier briefing including components, fragrances & artwork houses
 Product Lifecycle Management :
o EPOS analysis, forecasting, merchandising plans and promotional management – execution and analysis of
 Sample / mock-up generation for PR, Pre-Production Samples, Customer presentations & sign offs
 Competitor Shopping Analysis and Reporting


Attributes

 Exceptional forward planning and organisational skills
 Excellent communication skills : written and oral
 Commercially competent
 Ability to multi-task and work on multi-projects
 Deadline driven and motivated : self-starter
 Successful within a fast paced environment
 Can work at all levels; from factory floor to key personnel in multiple retailers
 Ideally degree educated – not essential depending on background & experience.
Private label experience preferred though not essential
