Duties: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Engineer will be working as an integral part of the in house Maintenance team, responsible for the implementation of PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and breakdown repairs to the sites injection mould machinery and all associated plant and equipment. As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will also be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical faultfinding which will include hydraulics and pneumatics.
Skills: The ideal candidate will have a recognised engineering qualification or equivalent and will have ideally gained their skills within a similar engineering environment. Knowledge of the PLC controlled injection mould process / machinery would be an advantage, although full training will be given for the right candidate. Electrical and mechanical knowledge is essential and the ability to work under your own initiative is a key factor.
Salary: Circa £25,000 + o/t for this double days role
