Description		Quantity Surveyor- �500K Civils Projects-Henly Our client requires a Quantity Surveyor to work in the Oxford area. The successful Quantity Surveyor will have 3-5 years experience and the relevant Quantity Surveyor qualifications. Location: Henley The client: My client is the surfacing and civil engineering arm of a large multi national company with a turnover approaching �900m per annum. They are mainly involved with the laying and maintenance of roads and related infrastructure and have secured a string of long term maintenance contracts for the Highways Agency involving in excess of 2,700 miles (some 40%) of England's motorways and all-purpose trunk roads. The Role: They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a resurfacing contract that covers roads throughout the Thames Valley area. This contract is valued at around �9m per annum; each individual project is valued at between �10k and �500k. The ideal candidate will be a quantity surveyor with a minimum of 4 years experience working for a contractor. Preferably you will have experience working on civils projects, however construction background will also be considered. You will join an existing team of quantity surveyors in their picturesque offices in Oxfordshire. You will work closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor who will support you throughout. Remuneration: - Around �30,000 per annum depending upon experience - Choice of company car or car allowance - Health cover for entire family - Contributory pension Requirements: - Ideally 3-5 Years Quantity Surveying Experience - BSc in Quantity Surveying or other relevant Quantity Surveying qualification. - Civils background preferable.
