Description We are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join our client's manufacturing team to provide leadership and guidance to the electromechanical production/manufacturing team and ensure production/manufacturing processes and resources are properly planned and controlled.

The position of Production Manager is a strong man management role and requires excellent communication and strong leadership skills. You will manage the team electromechanical production cell team leaders, review long range production plans and ensure that all monthly build plans are achieved at target cost. The Production Manager will manage production resources, carry out production cell audits and ensure any necessary corrective action is taken immediately.

The Production Manager will report to the Manufacturing Director and will be responsible for the overall scheduling and work flow through the production/manufacturing department. You will be involved in process improvement and therefore should have strong lean manufacturing experience.

For the position of Production Manager you will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline or similar with a strong background in man management within a production/manufacturing environment preferrably electromechanical.

Benefits pension, life assurance, 20 days hol rises by 1 day per yr to 25

This position is commutable from Andover, Winchester, Salisbury, Eastleigh, Basingstoke, Southampton, Newbury, Swindon, Hampshire, Wiltshire, M3 corridor.
