Description		Environmental Health & Safety Officer East Anglia �25,000 - �30,000 + Excellent Benefits. One of the UK�S market leaders in their field within the manufacturing industry are now seeking a environmental health & safety officer to join their team. Reporting to the production manager your main duties will be: � Managing the sites 18001 health & safety management system � Carrying out and reviewing risk assessments � Preparing safe systems of work � Carrying out safety audits and environmental inspections � Administering and controlling permits to work to sub contractors � Assist in accident investigations and H&S trend analysis � Attending safety development group meetings � Managing the sites 14001 environmental management system � Collating data for the annual EHS report, Trade Associations, Packaging Compliance scheme and building research establishment � Carrying out EHS induction training for new starters and refresher training for the existing production work force. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH General, and come from a manufacturing environment (FOOD, AUTOMOTIVE ETC). Internal Auditor of OHSAS18001 & ISO14001. IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent. Membership of IOSH or AIEMA. You must have a hands on approach with the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You must also be enthusiastic and dynamic with the ability to learn and keen to progress within the company.
