JOB SCOPE:
HACCP, Audits, Quality Control, Traceability, Customer Complaints, Specifications, Quality Systems Documentation, COSHH, Product Sampling, Material Testing, Cost Improvements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance of HACCP plans to cover all products manufactured. Ensure that CCP are identified and required controls are implemented and monitored on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure that internal audits are carried out as required either by undertaking them personally or ensuring they are carried out by a third party.
- By monitoring others and by carrying out required checks ensure that food product produced is safe and to the required specification. Maintain all manufacturing records.
- Ensures traceability is maintained throughout the food manufacturing process.
- Investigate all customer complaints, keeping accurate records of the investigation and its findings and respond to customers as required.
- ensure all product and raw material specifications are kept up to date.
- Monitor and evaluate all substances/chemicals on site ensuring correct COSHH are completed on an annual basis.
- Carries out checks/testing of both finished product and raw material
