JOB: FIELD SALES ENGINEER/FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Business to Business Sales - ideally Industrial and/or Facilities Maintenance Experience
LOCATION: CAMBRIDGESHIRE
SALARY: £28 - £30K PLUS OTE, car, laptop, mobile/blackberry, private medical, pension, 23 days annual holiday plus statutory days
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU LIVE WITHIN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: Milton Keynes, Northampton, Leicester, Peterborough, Cambridge, Stevenage, St Albans or Luton.
This is an exciting opportunity, with excellent prospects, working for a world leader who are at the forefront of developing revolutionary repair and maintenance problems within marine, oil, gas, petrochemical, power generation, pulp and paper, sugar and many other industries.
The position will be home-based and will involve developing relationships with contacts such as Chief Engineers, Works Managers, Production Directors, Architects, Surveyors, Estates Managers, Environmental Engineers etc. Reporting to a Regional Sales Manager you will be achieving sales and profitable growth by developing and expanding sales to existing customers in targeted industry sectors, as well as opening new accounts. Customer contacts can vary from Managing Directors to workshop, stores and engineering personnel and can include everything from contract negotiation through to supervising product applications (complete with overalls!).
The emphasis of this role is building durable client relationships and delivering repeat sales.
It is likely that you have been working withing manufacturing and processing industries and are comfortable selling technically oriented solutions. You will be selling business to business solutions in the Industrial/Commercial sectors. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and well developed communication and presentation skills. You will operate with individuality and flair in a structured professional environment.
