We are currently recruiting for a Process Technologist who will provide technical expertise as a system and product specialist. They will deliver continuous improvement to the plant and business by optimising systems performance and product quality.

Principal Responsibilities:

As the expert on the production processes in your manufacturing unit you will:
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the performance of the individual process units, their interaction and the performance of the overall process as a whole
• Analyse performance and explain any issues on both a daily and monthly basis and provide tracking of performance against annual targets
• Suggest and lead process improvement projects involving the support of a cross functional team
• Provide process expertise in support to capital projects by providing process specifications, trials support and by taking a leading role in operator training, commissioning and acceptance testing
• Develop effective relationships with all levels of employees within the business.

As the Continuous Improvement representative in your manufacturing unit you will:
• Lead the implementation of new techniques from initial presentation through the completion of operator training to the delivery of benefits
• Promote a culture of learning and involvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Food Science.
• Minimum HND or equivalent in Engineering or Food Science with experience in dough or food process development.
• A background or solid understanding of product development, engineering, manufacturing, or quality engineering.
