My client is a global market leader in the manufacturing industry. Having won numerous awards for their high performance products, the organisation is dedicated to producing high quality products, applications and support services to meet the needs of their customers worldwide.

A unique opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Data Analyst to join this highly successful organisation. The role will involve the extraction and analysis of product failure trend data, carrying out root cause analysis, and highlighting main reasons for failure, including analysis of product failure cost data. It will also involve producing management reports.

Individuals with the following skills and experience would be suited to the role:

· Degree qualified or equivalent in an Electronics, Quality Management Systems or IT related discipline
· High degree of computer literacy, including strong knowledge of Excel – including writing macros, use of pivot tables and using multiple worksheets to cross reference
· Knowledge of SAP
· Analytical and problem solving skills, including root cause analysis
· Highly numerate, comfortable with analysis of financial and statistical data

Knowledge of visual basic programming would be highly desirable as would knowledge of technology and associated hardware.
