My client manufactures and distributes cleaning products from its factory based in Lutterworth. Due to a recent structural review and to cope with increased business levels they are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Production Manager.

On a day to day basis your duties will be:

• Ensure that production schedules are met
• Championing continuous improvement and driving efficiency
• Managing the production team through month plans, training and motivation
• Working with the senior management team to develop new products and drive the business forward

Candidates must have previous experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment, be able to understand production processes including some mechanical knowledge of machinery. The ability to produce basic reports and understand production KPI’s are essential.
