Manufacturing Operative/Supervisor

Our client based near Staveley is looking for a full-time permanent Manufacturing Operative/Supervisor.

The client is looking for a candidate who has Experience of:-

Operating Manufacturing Machines
Working to Strict Quality Standards
Downtime Recording
Team Working Environment
Factory Environment
Machine efficiency
Problem Solving
Safe Working Practices
Liaise with Maintenance Staff

The various shift patterns for this role are; days, 6-2 and 2-10 and 3 shifts (6-2, 2-10 and 10-6 nights). The successful candidate will need to be flexible around the shift patterns and be prepared to work any mix of those shifts, different rates apply due to the shift allowance. There will be a requirement to work overtime and again the person recruited will be expected to work overtime at a reasonable level when required.

Following the successful training period the salary will be £18-20k, during the training period this will be around £16k, or slightly more when training is done on shifts. In terms of other benefits, there are 25 days holiday/year, pension and life cover (after 12 months service).
