The Role of Manufacturing Engineer is based in Todmorden, Lancashire

As a Manufacturing Engineer the role will involve a range of functions such as:

Purchasing of consumables for the Machine Shop
Data Analysis of CBN usage and costs within the Machine Shop
CNC Programming - Fanuc & Heidenhain
Programming & Development of CNC Fettling Machine
Provide Technical knowledge in tooling and manufacturing processes
Support the Lean Development of the Machine Shop
Introduction of SMED
Seek out and implement Method Improvements with our manufacturing processes
Tooling - Keeping pace with advancements that come on to the market.

As a Manufacturing Engineer you are expected to have the following Qualifications:

ONC / HNC in Production or Mechanical Engineering
Machining Engineering Apprenticeship

As a Manufacturing Engineer you are likely to have the following skills:

SMED
CNC Programming - Fanuc & Heidenhain
Experience in CAM - Pathtrace, Edge
Lean Manufacturing Principles
