Are you a knowledgeable QA Co-ordinator with experience maintaining excellent relationships with employees, visit customers' where appropriate and assist in resolving quality issues?
With a diverse client base and purpose built facilities this represents a superb opportunity for a quality co-ordinator to become part of a stable company.
The Role:
- Drive forward, improve and aid in all quality aspects of the WSM business. Be a member of the quality team and provide quality information to all employees playing a key role in the setting and achieving overall quality objectives in line with the Quality Managers Key Result Areas.
Maintain excellent relationships with all employees' and customers in day-to-day communication and correspondence. Visit customers' where appropriate and assist in resolving quality issues.
Assist the Health, Safety and Compliance Manager by completing annual audits as directed.
Ensure robust procedures are adhered to. Enforce the company Health and Safety and other policies in the plant. Please see point 10 for full Health & Safety expectations and requirements.
Set an example to other employees in terms of practices and ethics.
The Person:
*Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing / technical corrugated environment.
*Can bridge the gap between customer demands and plant capabilities
*Has key understanding of manufacturing needs in relation to efficiencies and quality.
*Needs to be an effective communicator, with first class interpersonal / human skills.
*Must be able to capture and interpret key data to ensure that the best informed decisions are always made within the Quality Department.
*Must be an effective "self starter", decisive and innovative.
*Must provide effective business feedback / develop business relationships.
*Must have the ability to aid the quality manager to deliver a vision and strategy.
*Must be able to understand drive towards change.
£38,000 - £40K + full benefits.
