Quantity Surveyor

Our prestigious manufacturing and engineering focused client is now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor.
Working to ensure that contracting tenders / cost plans are completed to industry standards, the successful candidate will be required to increase potential revenue for the company.
Daily duties will include:
Preparing estimates, feasibility studies and budgets for projects.
Preparing bills of quantities and other tender documentation for competitive tendering for projects and e-auctions
Negotiating contracts
Advising on and preparing contract documentation for main contracts and sub contracts
Monitoring and reporting on cost for the duration of projects
Determining final costs of projects, and variations to final account
Management of projects as directed
Working with the design team as required
Day to day management of project / labour cost to manage against project plan

The ideal candidate will be RICS or CIOB accredited and have a proven manufacturing or engineering related background.
