Are you a hard working Quality Assurance Engineer with a background in high volume manufacturing then you could be taking on an exciting new role with one of our automotive industry clients based in the Sunderland area.

As part of this successful and busy Quality Assurance team you will enjoy a forward thinking culture and progressive environment, reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager you will be based in a purpose built and a modern manufacturing facility only 3 miles from the junction of the A1231/ A19, easily accessible by public transport.

In this diverse and challenging Quality Assurance Engineer's role, you will be given plenty of responsibility with interesting projects along with long term career prospects, including:

*AQP for new products development
*New product project Support of internal / external Tool trial & line trials
*Technical QA support to customer & internal functions
*Non-conforming parts concern resolution & reporting
*Internal scrap reduction support
*Internal Kaizen improvement activity support
*PPAP supplier management
*An element of overseas travel should be expected

Specification:
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

*Experience with in a Quality Assurance Engineer's role
*Qualified preferably to HND or an equivalent level, in an Engineering or Science discipline,
*Experience of Plastics injection moulding / extrusion techniques (a distinct advantage)
*Experience of Quality Engineering functions including; 7 Tools, 8-D, APQ, PPAP, TS16949
