Flow Assurance Engineer

My client is an Engineering practice that provides expert consultancy, specialising in oil and gas, renewable energy and safety services. The practice is looking to recruit a Flow Assurance Engineer to their dedicated team that will provide answers to their clients’ oil and gas production challenges. This project based role will provide a workload that will include the front end areas such as: studies, concept and FEED project phases.

In the role of Flow Assurance Engineer you will have responsibility for the technical management and supervision of engineers performing these tasks and ensuring the technical accuracy and robustness of the conclusions produced. You will also provide expert assistance in the internal development and use of OLGA models.

Reporting into the Head of Department you will be part of a team that will be required to:

• Develop and run models in Pipesim software
• Be an expert SPT OLGA user, trained to advanced level
• Build and use OLGA models to develop strategies and operating guidelines for management of flow instability, hydrates and wax
• Process design of offshore topsides

Qualifications

• Chemical Engineering degree: (1st or 2:1) and the right to work in the UK
• Chartered Engineer status
• Has experience in offshore process engineering for Oil and Gas facilities
• Experience of Flow Assurance related work.
