Machine/Line Operator – 30 positions available – £8.00ph

We are currently looking for experienced Machine Operators for PERMANENT opportunities in the Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
Our client are an established packaging and manufacturer within the food industry and due to a recent contract win, are now creating multiple opportunities for their site based in Northamptonshire. There are over 20 opportunities available, spread across 3 shifts – day, back or night shift.

Job Duties;
• To operate, monitor and maintain the line productivity
• Ensure safety, hygiene, quality, inspection, control procedures and routine maintenance are observed at all times
• Compile regular reports on machine breakdowns and performance
• Responsibility for the line operatives deployed to your area, including hygiene, health and safety awareness
• Upholding and helping to improve high company standards
• To operate any other machinery within the company’s standards and procedures

Experience and Skills Required;
• Previous experience of working within an industrial environment
• Experience of operating production lines and machinery
• Ability to work without minimum supervision
• Knowledge and good practice of Food Hygiene principles – a Level 2 Cert Accreditation will be highly regarded
• Ability to effectively report productivity figures and standards
• Supervisory experience of other team members in a high-paced production or packaging area would be highly regarded
• Strong Communication both verbal and written

• £8.00 per hour base on a minimum 38 hours a week – overtime available in busier times. Shift premium available for night shifts.
