Key Purpose of the Job
Sell new media Solutions to increase revenue to agreed levels. Responsible for the sales process from Initial Presentation through to written proposal and final contract signature, delivering excellent customer service.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Identify and target best prospects within allocated area• Qualify leads and arrange appointments, respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers in order to sell new advertising programs, and to protect and increase existing advertising• Explain to customers how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible. • Inform customers of available options for advertisement artwork, and provide samples. • Negotiate optimal advertising packages by developing solutions to meet the needs of the customer• Deliver advertising or illustration proofs to customers for approval. • Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services. • Build effecting working relationships with the KAE function, to maximize the sale and return on revenue• Attend sales meetings, industry trade shows, and training seminars in order to gather information, promote products, expand network of contacts, and increase knowledge• To achieve agreed sales revenue and account targets• To keep up to date with the medium, the market and our competitors. • To contribute towards plans, forecasts, reports and information regarding customer requirements and business performance. • To ensure a high standard of behavior, knowledge & skills in satisfying customer requirements to enhance customer satisfaction. • To ensure all documentation will be maintained in accordance with quality guidance. • To understand, comply with and promote adherence to all relevant compliance processes, to comprehend and monitor adherence to the Compliance Handbook, Code of Conduct and Submission of Orders document, and investigate compliance issues and customer queries as required• Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills. • All above responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with the attached Code of Practice. In addition to job-specific responsibilities, all Sales people must adhere to the responsibilities and standards set out in the Code of Practice.• The post holder will ensure the health, safety and welfare of themselves and their team in accordance with company policy• The post holder will understand the regulatory, fair trading and competition rules relating to their work sufficiently to be able to comply with them, relying on their own knowledge or on their ability to recognize that they will need specialist support.• To actively support, at all times, company policy and the best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.• Post holder is authorized to access, use or disclose customer information only when needed to do so to perform operational duties.
